Philip Lane

Affiliation: Trinity College Dublin and CEPR Philip Lane is Professor of International Macroeconomics at Trinity College Dublin and Director of the Institute for International Integration Studies (IIIS), having previously been Assistant Professor at Columbia University. He is also a CEPR Research Fellow, and a regular visiting scholar and consultant at the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and several central banks in Europe. His research interests include international macroeconomics, economic growth, European Monetary Union and Irish economic performance. He is a member of the Royal Irish Academy and the Euro 50 Group, as well as on the editorial boards of the Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Economic Perspectives, International Journal of Central Banking, Moneda y Credito and Open Economies Review. He holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University. |
